Alex Rose
Alex Rose has extensive experience both as a successful and well-respected Film Producer and as an educator and lecturer on film producing, filmmaking, and the entertainment industry.

Alexandra began her film career with film pioneer Roger Corman, at NEW WORLD PICTURES where she oversaw film distribution, acquisition, post-production and marketing. She then formed her own independent film companies, ROSE & ASSEYEV PRODUCTIONS and, later, ALEX ROSE PRODUCTIONS.

She is well known in Hollywood for having been nominated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Best Picture and having produced the Academy Award winning film – NORMA RAE – as well as for her many television and film production accomplishments. Her feature film credits include: critically-hailed FRANKIE AND JOHNNY, starring Al Pacino and Michele Pfeiffer; THE OTHER SISTER, staring Diane Keaton, Tom Skerritt, and Juliette Lewis, QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER, starring Tom Selleck; OVERBOARD, starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, BIG WEDNESDAY, starring Gary Busey, William Katt, and Jan-Michael Vincent; NOTHING IN COMMON, starring Tom Hanks, Jackie Gleason, EXIT TO EDEN, starring Dan Ackroyd and Rosie O’Donnell; I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAND, helmed by award-winning director, Robert Zemeckis, DRIVE-IN for Columbia Pictures, etc.
